So You Want to Start on Twitter but Don't Know What to Do!

www.mashaable.com

I am not a computer or internet expert, just an enthusiastic user.  With that in mind I thought that I will hold a few sessions to show people how to use a few of the wonderful applications there are on the web, to promote their businesses or just to enable them/you to interact with the wider internet connected world.
At the end of each session I would hope that you would be able to navigate around the following websites, if not quickly, at least with some knowledge.

On the first session I would hope to cover

TWITTER

  1. How to set up a Twitter account
  2. Your profile and what to put on it.
  3. Insert a picture on your profile
  4. Cover who to follow (initially)
  5. A few of the Twitter etiquette details and why they are there
  6. A couple of the Twitter management websites that are there and how to use them.

PINTEREST

  1. How to set up an account
  2. Who it is good for and why
  3. How to use it.
  4. URL's and copy right
  5. How to get pictures to refer back to your website.

Look under Prices and Information for the items, information and equipment you will need to bring with you to the session.
